Terms of use
Contractual terms for using the CUIZ platform and related services (high‑level summary, not a substitute for legal advice).
These Terms of Use describe the core rules under which you may access and use CUIZ services, including digital tools, web interfaces and related materials. CUIZ is a centre focused on supporting the safe, evidence‑based use of artificial intelligence in healthcare. The text below is intended as a clear, readable framework and does not replace individual legal review or formal agreements between CUIZ and specific institutions.
CUIZ services are designed primarily for healthcare professionals, researchers, institutions and other expert partners. By using the services you confirm that you act in a professional capacity and that you respect the limitations described here – in particular that the system does not replace clinical decision‑making, does not provide medical care and is not intended for emergency or life‑threatening situations.
Content and outputs provided by CUIZ are supportive and informational in nature. While we invest significant effort to keep information up to date, accurate and grounded in scientific evidence, we cannot guarantee completeness or absolute correctness in every individual case. Final decisions in clinical practice always remain with the responsible clinician or institution that bears legal responsibility for care.
You must not use CUIZ for activities that violate applicable law (for example data protection, medical device regulation or intellectual property), that could endanger patient safety or that could harm the reputation of CUIZ or third parties. In particular, you must not submit identifiable patient data, credentials to other systems or other sensitive information you are not authorised to share.
All software, models, user interfaces and written materials connected to CUIZ are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. Using the services does not grant you ownership of these components but only a limited licence to use them in line with these Terms and any separate agreement you may have signed with CUIZ.
Privacy and data handling are described in separate Privacy Policy and Cookies Policy documents. By using CUIZ you acknowledge these rules. If you disagree with any part of those documents, you should not continue using the services.
CUIZ provides the services "as is" without any express or implied warranties to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or special damages, lost profits or loss of business arising from or related to the use of, or inability to use, the services. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
These Terms may evolve over time, in particular in response to legal developments, technological changes or new forms of collaboration. The most recent version is always available on the CUIZ website. Where changes are material, we will aim to inform users in an appropriate way. By continuing to use the services after changes come into effect you accept the updated Terms.
If you have questions about the legal framework for using CUIZ, you can contact us via the contact details listed on the main website. For formal contractual arrangements between CUIZ and institutions, the wording of the signed agreement and its annexes always prevails.
